I'M NEW TO FIGHT SPORTS, WHAT FIGHT GEAR DO I NEED?

In my earlier article stating “Don’t Buy Anything from anywhere until you read this” I cover the reasons why choosing the right gear is vital for getting a good start in your sport and avoiding the common pitfalls. This page is a concise guide with some suggestions as to what you need for all the common fight sports. If you have not read this yet, I recommend doing so before this one, READ IT HERE

Different people will have different ideas but this page represents the most commonly held beliefs of top coaches in the sports we cater for. The products on this page represent core items required for the sport

The Best Way to Buy Fight Gear For Beginners

1. Know EXACTLY what fight sport you are doing (We know this sounds obvious but not always, See previous article)
2. Buy in line with your clubs recommendations, speak with your instructor before you buy anything from anywhere
3. Avoid Shopping Channels unless you know EXACTLY what you need
4. Ignore non-expert reviews - Most of them are uninformed or biassed or both.
5. Choose Function over fashion everytime.

Buying for someone else training in Fight Sports

This can be very tricky, especially if they have been training a while. The best advice we would give is that unless they have specified something they want then avoid core training items such as boxing gloves, shin pads and the like. Instead go for niceties that every martial artist will appreciate but may not always buy for themselves. One other option if buy a FSPRO GIFT VOUCHER & Choose your level!
