How I Ended Up Working Sundays at FightstorePRO

You may have seen a new face about on Sundays. My name is Tyler and I thought I would take this time to tell you about how I started working at FightstorePRO.

A while back I was in the thick of building DriveAds (my vehicle advertising business) and doing the usual grind of reaching out to local gym owners to see if they'd want to advertise. Somewhere in that research rabbit hole I came across a page called Anarchist Entrepreneur. Turned out to be Alex, giving out genuinely useful business advice to anyone who'd listen.

I reached out, we got talking, and it just clicked. Wasn't some big networking play, we just got on.

Around that time I'd been through a rough patch. I'd worked hard at a previous company, climbed my way up into management, then got let go out of nowhere one day. With the cost of living what it is, I ended up juggling three jobs just to keep things ticking over.

Alex could see the work ethic and the way I thought about business, and offered me a Sunday shift at FightstorePRO, partly to help me out financially, and partly because he liked what I brought to the table. The plan, when the business finances allow for it, is for that to grow into a store manager role.

So that's how I ended up on the shop floor every Sunday, alongside everything else I've got going on. Funny how the stuff you do for one project (cold outreach, of all things) can lead you somewhere completely different.
